2009 Batch enjoyed on tap during the Barrel Aged Release Party at the brewery. Cloudy amber/orange in color, thin filmy head and very little lacing. Sweet sugary aroma with a good maltiness and a very heavy bourbon effect coupled by some mild fruitiness. Sweet with a boozy liquor kick, but it's smooth and drinks wonderfully as long as you take your time. Unique taste with a big sugary malt flavor followed by peaches and pineapple. Heavy on the bourbon with a complimentary woody taste, this is what ties it together and makes it so wonderful.
