This beer is currently available again as a pub exclusive at the Great Lakes Brewery. This beer is a clear brown/copper color color with a nice white head . Nice lacing too. This beer has a quite malty smell along with a mild hop presence and perhaps some fruit. The smell of alcohol is also slightly present. Has a sweet, malty taste that is well balanced with a bit of hop bitterness. Fairly sweet taste for a beer, but not overly sweet. Has a nice crisp, smooth and creamy full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Very easy to drink. Great Lakes does it again with another excellent beer and should sell this in bottles.
