Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale is a gift for the senses. Strawberry is the yin to rhubarb’s yang—the sweet to the tart. This beautiful partnership creates a beer that glows ruby in the glass, bursts with strawberry aroma, and bites with every sip. Bright and effervescent, this sour is a fun and refreshing, lip-puckering treat perfect for every occasion, any time of the year.

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a generous foamy white head which doesn’t last long. The rhubarb is overpowering in the armoa leaving only hints of grass, herbal hops, and weak yeast in the background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour tastes like a nice balance between a blonde lager and a strawberry rhubarb pie, and I love strawberry rhubarb pie. There are hints of grass, and a bitter hoppy finish, but this is pie in a beer glass. -

Pours a mildly hazed golden colour with an amber hue. The head is frothy, creamy, warm light-beige with good retention and left with some nice creamy lacing. Malty and fruity aromas with the fruits well-blended. The rhubarb and strawberries are again well-balanced in the flavours with some hints of burnt wood and roasted nuttiness. Some nice sourness, some nice tartiness. This is quite good - would have some more, as not too sour, not too fruity... just right.
