On draught at the downtown brewpub. Poured a pretty chocolate brown with a thick, velvety tan head with soft lacing. Mild malty nose and a soft, smooth mouthfeel; light-to-medium bodied. Mildly flavored; soft toasty malt and faint hop bitterness. Mild, mild, mild... not a bad version of the style.

Sampled on cask: Poured a dark dark brown with no head. Aroma is pretty malty- chocolate and faint hops on the nose. Taste is super disapointing. Metallicy, thin and watery in the finish- it left an awful gritty taste on my mouth, definately something i won't be having for a while.
