Every New Year Old Bat Rastard unfurls his withered wings and stretches, feeling for any sign of the sun warming his would-be thumb. If there is no warmth, he’s in for a long winter; if however he feels a sunrays’ warmth, he folds his leathery appendages back, content to know spring is not far. Deep, tawny brown, our winter warmer welcomes you with its inviting malt aromas and caramelized sweetness. Thick, full and slightly bitter, this is the beer to break the dead of winter. bottle 31 out of 60 .. . Opened to celebrate finally breaking through the 2000 review mark.. . Pours a dark brown, with a medium strength cream head .. . lacing is average.. . ya, he's a real lightweight .. . god, this brew is way to easy to put down, like drinking water in the sahara .. . and her hooters ain't bad either .. . very complex, dark bread crust, chocolate, light sweet maple roast, even light rum .. . This is a great beer, but i liked the barreled version alot more.. The life of a silversmith's apprentice was not an easy one! Aaahh!
