This strong warming ale is brewed with Canada 2-row, Thomas Fawcett Optic, Crystal, Amber and Weissheimer Munich malts. The rich malt sweetness is balanced with Magnum, Goldings, Cascade and Fuggles hops for a dangerously smooth and drinkable ale for its strength. This ale was brewed with 1000 lbs of malt into a little over 155 gallons of water. This works out to just over 3/4 lb of malt per pint.

Growler... Poured a hazy, brownish red color with a very small, and quickly diminishing off white head and a little lacing. Sweet and fruity, citrus hop aroma... a small amount of dry yeast? Bitter hops, alcohol, and a chewy and sweet caramel/butterscotch malt. Some spice, possibly nutmeg, and a little cinnamon.
