A tribute to our lumberyard roots and the traditional Highland contest of heaving wood poles, this full-bodied ale is a smooth drinking, Old World Favorite. Deep amber in color, the blend of specialty malts and American hops create a sweet, caramel,malty pint that finishes with a modest hop spice.

It was a very light colour for a scottish ale, clear amber colour with a small head. Very little caramel taste. Mouthfeel was incredilby light, very weak for its style overall.

Medium amber with a faint tan head that disappears quickly. A mild toffee nose and a slightly rough mouthfeel. Body is thin with mild caramel malt flavors, a mild bitter hop accent, and a slight malty finish.
