INGREDIENTS: Maris Otter pale ale malt/crystal malt/black malt/torrefied wheat/Fuggle and Bramling Cross hops. Strong old ale in the mould of Theakston's Old Peculiar. TASTING NOTES: A very dark ruby beer with a malty, lightly fruity aroma that is a little creamy and grainy. The taste is malty, lightly sweet and alcoholic, with hints of almonds and gentle fruit. Bittersweet, dark malt finish.

Bottled. Pours out in a hazy ark reddish brown with a huge lasting tan-colored foam. Malty aroma of mocha, raisins, figs and red berries. Medium to full-bodied with notes of roasted nuts, milky chocolate, almonds and raisins. Bordering to over-carbonated. Long malty finish of dark chocolate and hazelnuts.
