Introducing Sonata, our first Kriek-inspired beer and the latest addition to Music Vale Compositions, our program of 100% spontaneous ales. Blended from a variety of oak filled over the 2019-2021 brewing seasons, Sonata was refermented on New York-grown cherries to the tune of 5 lbs of fruit per gallon. More than any other fruit, there is a deep and storied tradition of tart cherries in spontaneous beer - and for good reason, it’s an incredibly complex fruit that works beautifully in these beers
