Pours hazy old gold with a thin ivory head. Aroma provides sweet apple, that's it. Flavor contributes sweet apple and bitter wood. Texture gives up nice body and peppy fizz. Past its prime but still enjoyable.

Had at the 5th AV party and brought a little home. Light in color, but not in body or flavor. Sweet-leaning, thanks to ample barreling, but the hops (citrusy), wood, and caramel are all obvious. Nice sipping brew. I had it among others, so i may even be low-balling the score. I'll gladly revisit by itself in the bottle at a future date :) 6/12 - called that one. AWESOME in the bottle. Gotta up it a tenth. Really nice oak-aged blonde BW!!
