Pours clear amber with a thick and rather persistent eggshell head. Strong aroma has hoppy, grapefruit and butterscotch tones. Flavor is quite hoppy, very like an IPA, evergreen and bitter wood hopping (ahem!) all over the palate, accompanied by grapefruit and butterscotch tones. Smooth texture has a woody fizz that leaves a hoppy finish and a somewhat persistent tingle. Let this one seduce you!

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a huge rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is straw malts, Belgian yeast and some tangy tropical fruits and some musty brett.
The flavor is sweet sugary doughy malts with some tangy tropical fruit and light green apple and some earthy Belgian yeast leading to a lightly bitter finish that dries it out some and lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a very nice brett beer, but not a lot of hop character other than some bitterness late in the finish. -

Sampled on 11/3/2012. This ‘Belgian style’ IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, citrusy, grapefruity and bretty. A medium bodied sour/wild IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange and citrus. The hops are grapefruity. Mild carbonation. Nice balance between the hops, malt, tart and funk. Nothing over powers anything else. Not really sure just what style of beer this is. Is there a bretty/funky IPA category? Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is bone dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly tart and funky.

Hazy gold body with a small fluffy white crown on the first pour. Wow what is this beer I was not expecting a hoppy beer. Peachy yeast, hints of funk, vanilla, mild spice. I can smell both an IPA and a Belgian............. I normally never like this mix of styles but this is something special. Taste is epic. This perfectly the beer I was in the mode for. Peach, banana, yeast, apricot, so yummy. Heavily carbonated, it stings the throat. So very hoppy, so very yeasty, only mildly funky. I could drink this constantly. The faint malts are toasty, overall its sweet, medium bitter. This beer is MIND = BLOWN!!!

forgot this was an IPA and not just a brett beer, till I smelled it. Wonderful earthy, funky, bright and vinrantly hoppy aroma and flavor. Smooth and dry on the palate. Citrus and hay, lemons and barnyard funk. Can't remember what this cost, but I hope to get it again. #3800!!
