Didn't know what to really expect here as it wasn't classified as a tradition oyster stout per se. But it did pour dark, with an aroma heavy in roasted malt, but heavier in brine, with just a hint of funk. The flavor at first hits your jaw like only a good sour can, then as you get used to it the oyster really shines. This one was also polarizing, and fairly intense, but I think it worked pretty darn well.
