Our third beer in our collaberation beer series with New Belgium, Trip III is a blend of Dark Lager (70%) brewed at Elysian and aged sour ale(Fouder 13-30%) brewed at New Belgium. Hints of sour cherry and peachwith a very nice malty-crisp finish. Dark lager brewed with pale, crystal, munich, carahell, c-45, special B and chocolate malts and bittered with Sorachi Ace hops. Multiple starting/finishing gravities in this blend.

another very good but not quite GREAT beer from Elysian. Russian River had set the bar very high for this type of dark lager/sour ale with Consecration. While this one didn't approach the awesomeness of that beer, it was quit good, and one of my favorites for the weekend. lighter fruit flavors, and a sour presence that could have been a touch more assertive, but made it a complex tasty brew nonetheless.
