Den 11. april 2015 ble Østfoldmesterskapet i hjemmebrygging arrangert på Losen i Larkollen. Vinneren i kategorien "Proffens favoritt" ble Anders Refsahl, og dette er hans øl. Norsk Amerikaner er en blonde ale, humlet med amerikansk humle, og gjæret med Norwegian Farmhouse Ale (WLP6788) fra Muri gård på Stryn som ble rendyrket og produsert av White Labs i USA.…

50cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg avd Sandefjord. Pours almost clear golden with a quite medium, white head. Malty and somewhat fruity aroma with some earthy notes, mild citrus and hints of tropical fruits. Moderate to medium sweet with a bit unusual, but quite pleasant flavours, interesting combination. Some lightly acidic notes present and it finishes moderate bitter. Rather tasty and a bit unusual. Decent stuff.
