Top House was located in Prestongate in the centre of Hessle, sports teams (football and rugby of both codes, both amateur and professional) trained in the many local sports grounds, often doing the circular running route from the Humber bridge, then meeting in the Top house. The pub was famous for its mild ale and was the first of our beers to be named.…
