Don't know where to start with this one. I've alway been a fan of Cinder Cone, and this is a double version of that aged in multiple wine barrels and blended back together. While bearing little resemblence to the base beer, you can pick out the same malts...there are just more of them. Toast and berries on the nose. Risiculously smooth and no alchohol showing. Deep complex flavor of oak, berries, toasted and carmel malts, berries and dark fruits, and a veeeery light sweet/tart thing going on. Really refined and enjoyable. Worth every penny, though this is the most expensive Deschutes beer I've ever seen.
