Early in the 17th century, Delft possessed its own genuine beer brewery, ’Brouwerye De Verkeerde Weereld’, founded and managed by Catholics. Original it’s a blod beer, but nowadays we describe the colour as amber. The Delftsche Knollaert has an alcohol percentage of 6 %, a hop taste with fruit aroma.
