This is a wonderfully unique and well done tripel. Notes of dark fruits, cherries and sourness on the nose and tongue of course, but also juicy fruits and a noticeable hop presence that is not so typical but really balances it nicely.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the flavors in this triple. I expected something more one-dimensional instead I was greeted with a broad swath of fruit, ginger and clove. I was a little let down by the mouthfeel. Seems the whole experience should have danced on my palate more. The flavor was good, but did not leave me begging for more. Perhaps with a little more age it could be exceptional.

From the tap at the Brewhaus. A cloudy yellow color with a thick pure white head. Strong aroma of ginger, clove and orange - but not satisfyingly melded. Rich, silky mouthfeel - very nice. Interesting blend of flavors; rich and smooth, a medly of fruit (peach, orange, banana), spice (coriander and ginger), and warm, sharp alcohol with a bittersweet finish.
