Broichan – our dark, malty, 5.2% strong ale, with flavours of dark chocolate and coffee. A traditional Scottish ale, perfect for fireside drinking with cheese and oatcakes. Broichan was a 6th century Pictish druid, or wiseman. His pagan beliefs brought him into conflict with St Columba. A battle of magic takes place between them near Loch Ness. Broichan’s magic may have been defeated, but Columba’s quest to convert the Picts to Christianity failed.
