not really a flanders red...imperial or otherwise. FR means sour, not wild, and this is a big hoppy monster with lots of oak and some brett. funky? yes. unique? oh yeah. flanders anything? not so much. i LOVED the toasted oak, which was very prevelant in the nose and flavor. the hops were pretty nice and juicy too, but the mix of those three things just didn't really work. add in that there was no lacto pr sour qualities to speak of, just some barnyard under the hop/oak thing...and this beer is a bit of a misrepresentation advertised as an imperial flanders red.

Pours a brown with red tinge .. aroma of berries, rake muck, wet leaves, fruit cake, and light brown funk .. . uggh, muddled and messy, no real abv felt but not enjoyable really- i don't see this happening, a mess .. . cause you're all a bunch of SHEEPLE, maaan!
