Our brewers went to work with wild strains for the refermentation in the bottle. Wild Jo cannot be tamed, on the contrary. The wild Brett yeast gives it its a-typical, intriguing character. The beer evolves in the bottle and gets wilder over time. The name Wild Jo fits perfectly with the temperament of this beer. Wild naturally comes from the wild yeasts. What about Jo? That's a tribute to Joseph van den Bogaert: a gentleman with a sense of adventure. After WWI he made it possible to restart the brewery. Are you also born to be Wild Jo?
