http://www.crazymountainbrewery.com/beer/lawyers-guns-money This beer began as a celebration of our January anniversary, but it is now being incorporated into a year round offering. We use an assortment of crystal malts and throw a little Belgian Candi into the Brew Kettle to give a hearty maltiness. Dry hopping with American Hops gives this English style a refreshing American twist. Be cautious with this beer as overindulgence can result in the shit hitting the fan. Food Pairings: Stilton and walnuts, toffee caramel cheesecake

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Aroma presents caramel, hoppy and malty tones. It pours barely translucent dark honey golden-brown with a thick and persistent fine-bubbled buff head. Flavor delivers woody hop, malty and fruity notes - this drinks more like an Imperial IPA than a barleywine. Mouthfeel features firm body and more fizz than I usually experience in a barleywine. Lawyers, guns, money - a recipe for disaster, or a good brew.

12 oz can. Pours hazy reddish copper with a smallish off white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet caramel malts, fruit and some dank, resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel and toffee with some fruit and a big resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a nice hoppy barley wine.
