Seoirse the Great, an Irish Red. This beer was brewed in memory of my grandfather who unfortunately passed away shortly before we managed to open the brewery. He was a wonderful man and when he smiled, he was the epitome of "When Irish Eyes are Smiling". This was especially true when he had that twinkle in his eye and mischievous grin that he got when joking with someone or playing a trick on them (which he liked to do... I know, hard to believe). He taught me so much and was always supportive of me, even when I told him about our crazy idea of opening a brewery. We miss you Pop! Seoirse the Great 6% ABV 22 IBUs 18.5 SRM This ruby toned Irish Red ale is medium bodied with a toffee-like maltiness. Lightly hopped, this beer finishes with a light taste of roasted grain and dark caramel sweetness. Perfect for the crisp days and cool nights of autumn

Pours an average size frothy brownish head and has a dark amber coppery appearance. Lacing is ok. Aromas of sweet malts, light earthy hops. Flavours of light and sweet roasted malts, nutty malts, earthy hops and hints of caramel and toffee. Medium bodied. Good retention. Slick and oily sensation. Pretty good.
