Revenge is a malty beast at 8.5% with nice round notes of chocolate and raisin. This mahogany colored ale is a winter warmer for sure. Inspired by Charlie Buffum’s scuba diving discovery of Oliver Hazard Perry’s first naval command the USS Revenge was lost at sea in 1811. This year round Scotch Ale will debut in 12 oz bottles first week of February 2012.
