Rated in 2011. On tap Cigar City pouring deep murky muddy amber with tan head, SeaBass really has never looked so good. The aroma offers up fruitiness in the form of various berries as well as somewhat moldy citrus fruit, a firm level of tartness to lemon and a dry wine like note. The taste is puckering yet somewhat thick presenting fairly tart notes from un-ripe berry skin tannins, berry juices, a thin and pleasing layer of barnyard like funk, apples and pears. To midway and onto the finish it picks up additional dry red wine like fruity notes.
