Rated in April. Growler pours pure mahogany with full mocha head. Looks like the growler kept perfectly. I remember hearing people commenting on the Oaked SeaBass and how good it is. SeaBass alone was pretty good. Hmm SeaBass aged on oak. The aroma is pretty smooth with un-ripe warm apricots, some soured citrus and a big spicy oak note. The taste is indeed great with smooth soured citrus, apricot skin, smooth spicy oak and a pleasing layer of chocolate (where’d that come from ?). Into the finish a bit of booze shows up. Damn. Putting SeaBass on oak was a good idea. This stuff is dynamite.
