Rated in July 2010. On tap at CCB pouring up mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is sweet slick malts, a bit of graininess, sweet molasses, cherry and plum dark fruitiness. The taste is sweet with sweet malts laced with ribbons of caramel, plum juice, other notes of sweet dark fruitiness and then a subdued level of woodiness into the finish. The wood notes are light and helps create a slight sense of dryness into the finish. Smooth tasty brew. They need to bottle this treatment for the masses.
