50cl caged and corked bottle pours with a deep dark body that supports a nice looking mocha head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, chocolate bar, malt balls, soft bourbon and then marshmallow. The taste delivers pleasing chocolate richness plunged into a rich bath of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, a thin blast of sweet dark fruity esters and then a mild yet growing chili pepper note. Now that I read the discerption the chili pepper isn’t intended. Oh well, it’s a light note and actually adds rather than takes away. Behind those notes lurks a smooth soft sweet bourbon note married up to a mild array of coffee, marshmallow and vanilla. Wow, this is a dandy sipper with plenty going on.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a bubble tan head. Aroma is sticky malts and smoke. Smoke, cinnamon, alcohol.
