44 months ago, 8th State came down to GA and things got weird. What started off as a Long Boil Barleywine quickly went down a s’mores adjunct rabbit hole. Time is the key for this adventure. Finally, this brew awoke from a long, dark slumber. However, it wasn’t all a dream. DRINK ME. Aged 44 months in a blend of George Dickel and 4 Roses select barrels with graham added in the mash and chocolate and mallo added in the boil. No adjuncts were added after in this version

Pours clear chocolate with minimal head. Aroma supplies chocolate, roast malt, caramel tones. Flavor features boozy, chocolate, caramel, roasty notes. Texture produces decent body, peppy fizz. Who needs adjuncts?
