After doing year-end inventories, we found this gem of a keg in the back corner of our cooler hiding under some other kegs. This beer has been aging since April 2013, and wow what a surprise.

Pours opaque mahogany that lets through buttery golden light through at the bottom, and has a fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma has toasty malt and caramel notes with a hint of caramel. Flavor has sharp caramel, malty, bourbon-soaked wood, and nutty notes. Texture is fairly thick and tingly. A strong recommendation.
