An Orc chieftain who ruled for 150 years, Bolg seems like the kind who would drink his grog of choice and no one would tell him otherwise; however, this flavorful strong Belgian Tripel may be too refined for this otherwise gruesome character.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6
Bomber from BCLDB Seafair. Pour of medium gold and a white head of no great significance. Aroma was heavy on the yeast, with some spice, and a sour quality. Mouthfeel, at least, was of a superior quality. Flavour was heavier than necessary on the yeast, could've used more spices, and had a peppery quality as well. Finish much the same as the flavour, although slightly sweeter. By no means a stellar Tripel, not even a particularly good one, although I did enjoy the 9.5% ABV. ghtly swI enjoyed the 9.5% ABV, but this is NOT a stellar Triple.
