This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Another great sour that packs a punch. We'd sampled the raspberry wheat first, which was an ode to fresh raspberries. In this one, the fruit is evident, but takes a back seat to the pucker, which gets you right in the jaw. Another awesome Cascade brew.

Shared bottle with KnoxBeerCrew founder Matt. Light hazy pinkish light gold pour with a bubbly short head and ample lacing. Big sour/tart aroma and palate, very light on the strawberries which is a good thing - not overly sweet at all - then more tart berries, yeasts and light funk. Very effervescence mouthfeel and great carbonation. Excellent tart and sour notes as one would expect from Cascade. Another winner from them.
