This barrel is the first glimpse of the base that we will be using for this years Kriek blend. We added over 4,000 pounds of fresh bing and sour pie cherries to six and nine month old barrel aged blondes and reds, then aged it for an additional 9 months. We added a little bourbon quad to see if this is a road we might want to venture down in the future. Taste it while it's available and let us know what you think. Servus!

This was the 2nd of two beers I tried last weekend at the Cascade Barrel House, and far better than the first. Very nice pink head and dark red beer. Very cherry aroma and flavor. Tart. Good medium body and not overly sour. Very nice beer, as long as you like cherry!
