Not one of your better light beers.....there's just no colour, no aroma, and no flavour.........which leaves one with no beer experience. Something I'll not try again.

After a house party there were a couple of these lying around in the garage so I figured I'd give it a try.Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that fades quickly with very little lacing. The smell is not very strong, but still above average for a light beer with some subtle hops and malty hints. This is a very refreshing beer that is crisp and clean with a nice malty taste. the mouthfeel is well carbonated. This is a good light beer for a hot day!

This light version of Carling beer pours a light golden colour with a decent white wet-fizzy head that stayed a minute or so. Heavily carbonated and some light lacing was left behind. The nose is quite strong in aromas, with something edgy, like bitterness or sharp hop. Watery mouthfeel with some light stickiness. The taste is some mild chemical malt with some slight bitterness and corn showing up in the aftertaste. Nothing crazy offensive and better than Coors Light.

I was surprised by this beer. For a "light" beer, it actually had flavour, and quite a bit of flavour at that. Now it's still swill, but I gave it an above average rating simply for the "light" beer style. The beer didn't have much of an aroma, but it does have a nice head for swill.
