The Story: Our second release brings recognition to the Battle of the Atlantic, considered to be the longest running battle of WW2. We focus in on a Canadian ship that took part in that battle, the HMCS Guysborough, which was sunk by a German U-boat towards the end of the war. This ship has meaning to us as its the namesake ship of Kelsey's home town. The Label: This label follows the same theme as the first, and depicts the story of the sinking of the HMCS Guysborough. You can see the silhouette of the German U-boat on the horizon heading right for the Canadian minesweeper. The quote is from a survivor of the ship and tells of the struggle the crew had after the sinking, a grim reality that our sailors faced. The Beer: The Peril in the Atlantic is a German style Pilsner beer. Using just four ingredients: barley, water, hops and yeast, it is crisp, dry and refreshing, and perfect for summer. Whether it be on a patio or a golf course this beer is a summertime crusher. Malted Grains: Pilsner - Victory Hops: Warrior - Tettnang ABV: 5% - IBU: 34 - SRM: 3.5
