Irish Red is burnt orange and slightly hazy with scents of caramel and a trace of sweet corn. It has the malty sweetness you expect, with burnt caramel and some earthiness adding some complexity.

Poured a clear medium amber color, with a small thin white head that lasted only a little while. The aroma is of malts, orange and just a faint whiff of caramel. The taste is very malty, with nice caramel taste that rounds off the flavor. The mouth feel is a slightly less then medium bodied with ample carbonation. Tasted at the Columbus Microbrew Fest.
