A beer festival beer, and a pretty good one. A cloudy reddish-gold pour with a weak cream coloured cap. Tart cherry makes up most of the aroma, but there's also wood chips and musk. Flavour is quite sour with definite notes of cherry and funk!

Buckeye's attempt at a wild ale met with some ups and downs from me. Good funky aroma and great appearance in the snifter. Lightly sour, tart and dry with a bit of an awkward watery finish. Flavor is more subdued compared to the aroma and it is lacking that powerful funky punch needed to push this type of beer. Solid attempt and I hope The Beer Engine puts more wilds/sours into production and on tap.
