After blending Scottish and German floor-malted barley with some choice American hops, the brewery house yeast was pitched and fermented “The River” to a lush, earthy elixir that was then stored in pre-used wine barrels from Red Hook Winery. The burnished gold liquid is topped off with rich, pale foam and smells of wood, vanilla, berries and spice.
