Bottled@fonefan. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some alcohol and some mild bready notes. Flavour is caramel malts, bready malts, some slight bready and fruity notes. Quite nice and balanced.

Hazy dark amber with a low thick lasting off-white head. Rich hop accentuated aroma of resin, over-riped oranges, sweet apricots and flowers with rich and deep malty notes of caramel, honey, toasted malts and sweet licorice. Of course (at massive 18 % ABV), it's got a huge massive body with strong notes of flowers, caramel, honey, pine mild pepper and toasted malts. Chewy yet rounded mouthfeel with a very well-hidden alcohol. Long belly-warming finish of resin, flowers, honey, caramel and toasted malts. Had sceptical thoughts about this one but now I'm praised. Really, really well done!
