An unusually red coloured beer, blending the red ale traditions of the North East and Ireland with a hint of Welsh flair. Vast quantities of Crystal malt are blended into a complex grist; and a selection of unusual hops, including Pioneer and 93-50, provide the bite to compliment the biscuity malt charactersitics of this exceptionally smooth and easy drinking beer.

An Irish Ale that is worth it........and Welsh to boot. A decent clear rusty red with a cream coloured head. The aroma was nutty malt with some fruit tones. The flavour was nutty malt, some seetness, and a nice bitter finish. Truly enjoyable.

Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head, lacing. Aroma is wood, metal and some caramel malts. Flavour is spices, hops, yeast and some very wooden hints.
