A style originating at the Trappist Westmalle, this strong ale is a bright straw color with a slight chill haze. The delicate spicy Belgian nose and bread, floral, dry finish, nicely mask the alcohol.

Another straightforward brew that is quite prototypical of the style. As such, it's not a standout, but solid and enjoyable. Floral and spicy, with some bubblegum and dough in the finish.
