B/A Coconut Barleywine English-style barleywine ale aged in bourbon barrels and finished with toasted coconut and almonds If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it. - M. Fuller Viscometer 7 Toffee-toned hue with outrageous coconut aromas that all but mask the 15% ABV. Cold initial sips are dominated by toasted coconut. As the liquid warms, complex layers of caramel develop and lead the palate to a silky, amaretto-like finish with just a hint of almond skin bitterness to balance the silky sweet body. The folks at Common Space Brewery wield their 30BBL Prospero brewhouse with wild success -- when we upgraded from our 15BBL direct fire system to our new 30BBL steam system, they were kind enough to come collaborate and share their insights and pro-tips as we set out to learn the nuances of our new system.
