Our seasonal offering of our “classic” Scottish style ale. Unlike our Isle of Skye Scottish Ale, which has malty, roasty and hoppy notes, the main emphasis in this beer is on its malt character. “90 Shilling” is a traditional tax designation that indicated the beer was of the highest quality. Try this beer with roasted meats or cheese. Amazingly, it works well with some desserts, especially our Crème Brulee and Apple Crisp.
