Originally a rye barleywine (brewed with nearly 30% rye malt, full-bodied, toffee colored ale), we have taken this beer and aged it for a year in bourbon barrels. The edges of this beer have smoothed with time, yielding a wonderful blend of caramel rye flavors, vanilla and bourbon. This complex, toasty brew will be out only for a limited time.
