Big Sky’s brewers brewed the threads of the 11th Anniversary Ale; Bottleworks’ own Matt VandenBerghe, Matt Bonney, and Shaughn O’Keefe oversaw the blending. The XI comprises mostly Ivan the Terrible aged in port, bourbon, and rye whiskey barrels with a few other touches like a Belgian dark strong ale added for balance and complexity. Expect a very rich stout with equal parts fruit and wood.

Happy to see this, then told it was Ivan in barrels, intriguing .. . Dark prune .. low foam .. . light tar, chocolate, wood and cigarette put out on the chin aromas .. . a fine velvety liquid, happy to have tried it .. . man, the Macy's day parade sure employs alot of hookers; and where the fuck is snoopy??
