A strong, sweet and very full-bodied ale, with malt and roasted malt flavors predominating. This dark red colored ale is a house favorite among our specialty beers.

Had there on draft. Poured a dark red almost brown. Aroma was weak, smoke and roast. Flavor was lacking as well. Smoke and roasted malts but not complex. Medium body. okay.

I had this fresh off the tap at the brewery. It is not bad for this style of beer but a little thin. If they could make it heartier then it would be right on for the style.
