Part of the 2018 Belhaven Craft Christmas 6-Pack. The beer pours a dark brown colour with a fluffy off-white head that is about 1cm thick. The aroma is funky yeast, roasted malt, and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet caramel malt, some molasses notes, which I expect in a 90 Shilling / Scotch Ale, and a bitter hoppishness in the finish. A pleasant beer.
