Grand Master OG is an intensified, amped-up, and imperialized version of our OG: Original Gruit. This amped up gruit incorporates some classic herbs such as bog myrtle and some lesser seen ingredients like labrador tea, and thyme. Grandmaster OG pours deep gold with white foam. An assertive sweet, floral, citrusy and somewhat piney aroma is displayed. The flavour is herbaceous, mildly sweet and slightly peppery. Grandmaster OG is medium-bodied, lightly tannic and has a lingering, herbal finish. Technical Specs * ALC/VOL: 8.0% * INGREDIENTS: Local Spring Water, Organic Barley Malts, Organic Labrador Tea, Organic Bog Myrtle, Organic Hops, Organic Thyme, Organic Yarrow, Brewer's Yeast * MALTS: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Acidualted, Carafoam (all organic) * HOPS: Perle (organic) * YEAST: German Ale * IBU’S: 20 * OG: 17.0°P * FG: 3.1°P

Picked up a bottle at the brewery. Pours a huge frothy eggshell white head and has a hazy dark golden appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas are sort of perfumy, hints of thyme and oregano seems like. Flavours are fairly smooth and a bit spicy. Bitter gruit notes that give way to smooth spice in the finish. Lively carbonation. Good retention. Nice drying mouthfeel.
