http://www.barleyjohns.com/13th-anniversary-ale/ Can you believe it? It has been thirteen years already! Our traditional Anniversary Ale is a Strong Irish Red Ale – strong enough to be called a Barley Wine in Ireland, in the US it might just miss this moniker because of its alcohol content – but not because it lacks any flavor! This strong, malt-forward brew smells of caramel apples, has a surprisingly light body, and has the flavor of freshly cut melon along with some toffee. Malts Used: 2Row, Munich, Crystal, Aromatic, CaraStan, Honey Malt, Roasted Barley | Hops Used: Galena, Fuggle | Yeast: Irish Ale
