Pours a small amount of foamy head but doesn't stay around very long. Has a light amber appearance. No lacing. Aromas of sweet malts, light caramel notes. Flavours are mostly malty, notes of spices and resin hops. Average carbonation. Fairly light bodied. Somewhat of a wet mouthfeel.

Part of the Classic Ales 6-pack at the LCBO for Christmas 2014. Pours a clean amber colour with a beautiful creamy light beige cap, well-lasting and creaming up the glass with lace. Mild bread aromas from the malts, with some toffee appearing after breathing. This is also the case for the taste. Light cereal malts, caramel with hints of grass in the finish. A good looking, easy-drinking mild session bitter.

Part of the Marston’s PLC 6 pack. The beer pours a clear copper colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is caramel, citrus, and cereal. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with average carbonation. The flavour is caramel, cereal, and weak citrus notes. A typical English bitter. -
